No actually the accordion was brought over by the Germans. But the Mexicans showed them how to play it. Nothing like a good cumbia to get you going.
It really doesnt matter who invented it...The truth is the Mexicans showed em all how it,s played. If you want proof listen to Ramon Ayala play Tragos Amargos.
