Well a plate is something you can eat off of, or have put into your head if you have a head injury, or something you hang on the wall for decoration, or it could be something you use in your cars engine, or it could be something used on the electrical motors in your home, or well you can see where I am going with plates.
And a booger is either something big hairy and scary, or it is something that goes wrong with a mechanical device, or it is something everyone grows inside their noses, so ou see that is the difference in a plate and a booger.
