I believe that it is best to use both condoms and oral contraceptives (the pill) simultaneously. Neither are 100% safe so it is best to be "doubly protected".

There is some controversy about IUDs (intra-uterine devices) as some say it prevents implantation of fertilised egg, while others view it as abortive as it dislodges an embryo. The condom will prevent pregnancy if used correctly; the pill interferes with the body's production of a hormone that matures an egg; the rhythm method is unreliable; abstinence is 100% but not good for a couple's love life.
Discuss options with your GP.

Personal choice - they all have a relateively same percentage rate of working. If it's a family planning measure - call your doctor and ask his/her advice since he/she know's your body. The pill might not be right for you and condoms would be better. There are also the patch and IUD etc. lot's of options. Just research it as a pertains to you not to everyone.

I would say the condom as I don't agree with the pill.I think it messes your body around too much.It can lead to headaches and other things.I have also heard of people being unwell with coils or loops as well, but i daresay these things work ok for some people. It really depends on what suits you best, but I would definitely say the condom.

Thats best is always more then one method that backs up the other...

As said check the above...

Id say a depro injection... Like the pill only as a 3 month injection you dont forget it easy but mark it off on a calenda, your phone etc etc in big red letters...

AND

Condoms with the stds and backing it up.

Not condoms are not perfect... anything oil based acts like acid (ie vasaline, food oil like chocolate, cream, ice cream etc)

30 seconds virus size holes 60 for anything else of importance.

Note that any drop any way getting in, on or near the vagaina will do the job... he boy touch stiff willy then finger you may have just transfered sperm.

If you got one up the butt, butt muscells pus it out, it dripples down soaking into your undies, damp patch against your girlie bits, sperm presses against your girlie bits where its wet it can swim and enter that way, or drops, drips etc.

Hence pils and patches and ideally injections you can't forget as slept in.

Likewise NEVER do the date or pull out method... they don't work or anything church aproved...

Coils can go wrong and pierce you (ouch)

Remeber its that one time you think stuff it... thats when you get pregnant

If the pill is taken correctly there is less than a 1% chance of pregnancy. Make sure if you get the pill that you throughly read the pamphlet that comes with the pills so you fully understand what to do and follow your doctor's advice.

I use the pill, but it depends if you're in a relationship or not.
If not use the pill and the condom at least you will be protected from an std.
Good luck.

All contraception is best. Still use the condom aswell as the pill or coil etc as this will help prevent STDs and STIs.
