I don't know if I'm right here, but I assume you mean she goes to the toilet on paper (i.e. newspaper), so you can leave her at home without worrying about the mess when you get back? If so then good for you, it took my pup ages to learn that and it was soooo frustrating.

The main thing is though not to let her get too used to it or she'll grow up thinking that's normal. You need to get her to go outside and to hold on if she can't get outside. It sounds cruel, but after a while I was able to leave my pup for several hours while I did a 9-5 job (I checked her at lunchtime for a while) but she managed fine. It's good obviously to leave toys and puzzles for her to play with (i.e. a ball with holes in that dispense treats after ages of her fiddling with it, good brain exercise!). If you don't get her out of the habit soon it'll be really embarrassing when you visit friends and she wees on their Sunday papers!

Good luck and have fun.

think yourself lucky.some dogs chew the seals on washer doors and other things out of boredom.how do you know shes happy when you are out though? maybe shes pissed off and then puts on a happy face when you get back so not to make you feel guilty.
