ok, ok. first thing's first: take a deeeeep breath, hold for 3 seconds, and slowly exhale. the key to using a difficult invention such as the spoon is being as calm and relaxed as possible. Now, pick up the spoon using your middle finger and thumb. Scoop your food item while keeping the spoon balanced and straight. Bring the spoon (with food item still inside its dent) to your mouth. Close your mouth around the spoon and slowly pull the spoon out. The food item will transfer from spoon to your mouth like magic!! Enjoy the spoon, one of nature's greatest accomplishments.

no, sorry. WAY too high tech for me. kids these days...in MY day we didn't have *spoons*- we had to use sticks. and the bugs? we didn't care about bugs...good protein. you see, back in my day, we couldn't just go buy a fat hunk of steak. we had to go shoot 'em ourselves. It was tough just tryin to get a decent meal for 11 kids. so don't trouble me with your spoon problems, kid. just use your fingers. why, in my day, we couldn't even use our fingers! they was too cold from helping our father shovel snow at his job so we could scrape by. you see, in my day, we didn't have them new-fangled *mittens*...
