These up tight whiners, are the same ones who's kids are always sick & at the Dr. office!
Why, if it were a Rottwieler & puppies on the cover of a dog magazine, no one would be offended!.....idiots!

I don't think that is the best thing for a cover of a magazine. It may be our preconcieved notions about sex and breasts that make some think breastfeeding is offensive. I breastfed my kids but I was always discreet about it. I think that is best. I don't think the world needs to see a baby nursing on the cover of a magazine. I can't say I am horrified,as one commented in the article. I can't even say that I wouldn't buy the magazine because of that. But I would say that I wouldn't have it laying arouond the house. Geesh, I am on the fence with this one. Because I think obscene is too harsh a word. I think it is inappropiate for sure. However, I think that if a woman is nursing and no one can see her breast, she has the right to feed her baby anywhere.

Because Americans still listen to their retarded Puritan ancestors when it comes to nudity. America is one of the most prudish countries in the western world. In Europe and around the world a breast is a breast. No big deal. Here it is some evil Satan pillow that must be repressed at all times.
Every night I get to see a trailer for an upcoming movie depicting rape, torture, murder, dismemberment, blood and guts. I can watch shows that depict people debasing themselves in appalling ways for money. But show a woman feeding her baby like women have since the dawn of time and people go crazy. It is an atrocious double standard that will hopefully one day stop.

I am so sorry if your mama didn't feed you when you were a baby poor thing it is no more obscene then you eating a hamburger while you are driving down the road or you drinking a soda in public its a natural thing and if any one thinks this is obscene then they definitely have some issues to deal with.

Personally, I think it's beautiful to see a woman breastfeeding. I don't feel the photo in the link is obscene at all. We see breasts in a much more sexual context on daytime tv. In this picture, you don't even see cleavage. Definitely not obscene in my book.

Not in my opinion. As long as the images are tastefully done, for the right purposes and not just to show some woman's "boobs". That is also assuming the photos show her breastfeeding a baby and not someone or something else.

Absolutely not. Mothers fed their children that way for thousands of years, and just because some mothers choose to practice that sort of feeding (whether healty for the child or not) does not make it unaccetable. What is the rubbery thing on the bottle called? The nipple.

No, I personally don't find them obscene, but do understand that others may. women are constantly told, Mothers milk is best,so if you are out with your child, you need to feed it. If its done discreetly,I don't find it a problem. Some may object, then to them I say, look the other way!!
