It sounds as though you were being condescending....not supportive.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe they were respecting your beliefs, wishes, etc. by praying silently to themselves?---and trying no to subject you to something you do not believe in or practice?

First thing you need to do is not get on Yahoo and brag about reminded some friends to pray. If you really want to help them than don't get on here and say things like I gave my christian friends an example because I don't want their God to send them to hell. IF you are a real athiest than you would not even think of the possibility of hell. I think someone just doesn't want to admit that he is a believer.

Yes, I think all Atheists should be in charge of Vice and Virtue. We should be the ones to inforce their holy law. No matter what religion I think we can do it. The key is we must follow the letter of the law. So anyone who is wearing clothing made from two different materials or who eats shellfish must be dealt with. Also anyone who denies that unicorns never existed should probably be stoned to death.
(How long would it take before everyone became an atheist?)

I think it is inconsiderate to flood another's post but since you asked about Swedenborg:
FAQ: Is Swedenborg a Universalist?
Swedenborg speaks of universal principles of religion from a Christian standpoint but the term "Universalist" has come to refer to a set of beliefs that are distinctly not part of Swedenborg's doctrine/theology. Some of the universals of religion are as follows:
"That God is one, and that there is a conjunction of charity and faith" (Soul and Body n. 20).
Also, "This only One and very Self is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. This also every Christian acknowledges from his doctrine and every gentile from his religion. In consequence, wherever he is, a man thinks that God is there and that he prays to God at hand; thinking and praying so, men cannot but think that God is everywhere, that is, omnipresent [in all places at all times]; likewise omniscient [all knowing] and omnipotent [all powerful]. Everyone praying to God, therefore, implores Him from the heart to lead him because He can lead him; thus he acknowledges the divine omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence, doing so in turning his face to the Lord; thereupon the truth flows in from the Lord" (Divine Providence n. 157).
Also, "There are three essentials of the church: acknowledgment of the divine of the Lord, acknowledgment of the holiness of the Word [Bible], and the life which is called charity" (Divine Providence n. 259[3]).
Also, "Every man [or woman] can be saved, and those are saved who acknowledge God and live rightly" (Divine Providence n. 325).
Emanuel Swedenborg did not start a church, produce a new Bible, or claim to have written scripture. Instead, Swedenborg claims to have been allowed to write down angelic wisdom in a new and more accurate doctrine for the Christian Church. This doctrine or "Universal Theology of the New Church" seeks to prove through reason and good interpretation that Jesus Christ is indeed the King of kings and Lord of lords who alone can enlighten individuals as to Jesus Christ's (or God's) sovereignty and divinity. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can instruct mankind from the Bible (for the books that are scripture in the Bible see above) and the Lord appears to mankind in truth from the Word.

For those who will, no doubt, insult and persecute you for your answers and comments, I would add this to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
To all the faithful who read questions or answers to our questions relative to our faith in Jesus Christ, that do nothing but mock God and assault the Word of God:
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for My sake. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven. They persecuted the prophets before you in the same way."
Matthew 5:11-12
"If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you."
1st Peter 4:14
"Hear me, you who know what is right; you people who have my law in your hearts: Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults." Isaiah 51:7
"You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes to them." Job 5:21

Blessed be, my brother.
Perhaps we will never be able to get everyone to be so considerate. That does not mean that you and I and the others who choose to walk that path should not be.

Nice One! I guess we can force all religious people to forcefully worship on their holy days. My brother, who is Catholic, never goes to his church, let us remind him and others to go to church or suffer severe consequences or go to hell for not doing so.
Let'salso forbid them from smoking, drinking and anything "immoral".

You don't go to hell just because you forgot to say thanks. You need to get your facts straight before you start bashing people and their beliefs. Deeds don't get you in heaven, only salvation through Jesus Christ does. It's like my pastor used to say "You aren't going to hell because you smoked a cigarette...you're just going to smell like you've been there."

i perceive you as overly conceited.
However, if you feel that you did save couple of souls today, good for you.
As for me, I believe christians are capable of looking after their own well being without an considered atheist heaten looking after them.
Pray for your own soul, and save your soul.
your christian friends are already saved simply by being christians!
