I support the troops all except for the ones who rape and kill civilians for no reason. my brother is a troop my fiance is a vereran of the iraq war. They need all the support that they can get. But my soon to be ex husband hes a "troop" and deserves to die. I am definately not in support of the actual war.

I definitely support the troops (since I've enlisted in the Army, and its not the troops fault they are there), but I dont necessarily support the war fully. I think that the war in Afghanistan needed to happen, because the ruling government at the time had attacked our country. Are we supposed to allow countries to attack us with no response? What would you say if someone did this to your country? I also believe that the war in Iraq was NOT warranted, because there was no substantial evidence prior to the beginning of the war showing they violated the Geneva Conventions. BTW, Colin Powell holding up a vial of what we think the Iraqi government MIGHT have is NOT substantial (the UN thought so too). However, we ARE in the war NOW, and must finish the job we started. Regardless of how you feel about the war, there are thousands of US troops in that country fighting, and I'm not going to stand by and let my fellow countrymen die, without doing something!

The US Military is comprised of the absolute very bottom of the US society. Mainly from low to low-mid class families, usually ghetto or trailer park trash, unsuccessful in a real work environment, unable to deal with realities of life, they find safe heaven with Uncle Sam.

The recent abuse scandals of US soldiers have brought unprecedented shame on the US military, becasue the standards have been so dropped to get recruits, I wouldn't be surprised if they emptied out Jails to enlist common criminals. There is nothing honorable in the US military. In my high school graduating class, about 8 people enlisted. All were absolute loosers. It doesn't take a genius to profile your typical US soldier.

What's great is, these morons go and get blown up or crippled for a system that is using them, and wasting their lives for Fortune 500 Companies.

Therefore, I support our troops 110%. Some looser has to go and die so I can enjoy my airconditioned office, convertible Jaguar, and house by the beach. Hell yeah, I support our troops. Goo White Trash. Wooo hoooo

You don't believe what I say: I just found this question under the military section, go read it and tell me if I am wrong.

What is the best militery force for me?

I am 17 years old.. my 18th birthday is in early October.
Now I totally screwd myself in High School because I failed all my classes my junior year but over all I can still graduate if I pass 5 classes my senior year.

I am stronger than most girls but I am also a little over weight (about 60 LBS)

My brother is in the army RESERVES
My other brother is joining the army
My sister is going to join the marines in a couple of years

I was thinking about the Air Force
But which one would be the best for my situation reguarding;
Schollarships
Housing
Money

And all the other things.

Please help me decide, and Thank you in advance.

I hate this question. You're damned if you don't support either one and damned if you do support either one.

I would rather not have my fellow Americans dying for any reason. I support the troops.

I can't tell you if I support the war or not. At this point I've heard so much damned propoganda from the two major political parties, I think people care more about who's right then what this war will or will not actually do for the countries involved.

So if you don't support the war, then you don't support the troops, right? This kind of notion is only possible when we have Bush for a president. So stupid...

I have tremendous respect for the people risking their lives for the good of their country, and I am totally disgusted by those who send our troops to kill and to die for no good reason.

Bush administration put our soldiers in a one really wrong war, and now prosecutes the soldiers involved in questionable situations. It is war! And the one who started it is responsible - Bush!

Shame!

This is in response to "Marc" that answer is 14.
Alright you yellow belly JACKASS. It's people like you that piss me off. Mercenaries, how do you figure? There are military men and women that are on welfare!! The pay is decent (unless you're lower enlisted, but I'm sure real mercenaries get paid A LOT more that we (American Troops) do. We VOLUNTEER to do this for pride in our country. Some to get away and there is no better way for them to. And some for college. Buy NO ONE joins for the money. Then lower enlisted, which are a lot of the one getting killed, hardly make $20,000 a year. True, it goes up when they're in a combat zone, but not enough for someone to want to risk their life. Getting killed is not what they "asked for" you dumb SOB. A lot of troops don't want to be there. They don't support the war in Iraq. But they do what their county ask of them. Just as I. Lets see if you still feel that way when YOUR life in jeopardy and you need our, YOUR military to help. Lets see if you still feel that way when YOUR family and friends are killed by terrorists. If it wasn't for the so called " mercenaries" in the past, you wouldn't have the freedom and the rights you do today. This would probably be a communsist country and you'd be killed just for saying what you did today. But, it's because of them, because of us, you can get away with it. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR TROOPS.

I support our troops and I hope they come home safe. However, if the United States government wishes to send troops to war, it must be a requirement that those congressman/ congresswomen and the presidents' sons and daughters be enlisted as well. Lets see which one of them will vote for war again.

Being a disabled vietnam vet, what do people want. For us to cut and run again like vietnam. Let the people finish it right. Take the gloves and give war if they want war, not some police action with the local police who most are criminals themselves.

Being a combat vet, I oppose the war do to the fact that 3 non combat vets are micromanaging it. I believe in the vets as they are the ones in harm's way. They can not tell bush to shove it until their enlistment ends.

I think the war is illegal as we were not threatened in any way and it is illegal as it is not being operated and run properly. iIlequipped troops. Bush says he takes the blame and he is commander and chief. Well that is fine and dandy. Military laws of various kinds provide for courtmartial for incompetence, stupidity, reckless endangering of lives, and more. Back the vets, slack the bush
