Totally inconsistent! why can't they have a jilbab shalwar avatar at the very least, but they shouldn't be depicting anything is what I thought...maybe an absrtract pattern for muslims would be best!

No, it isn't commiting an offence. I can put any kind of Avatar. It won't make a difference. Regardless if it is a Muslim Man or Woman.

Muslims can use avatars so long they are not offensive & disrespectful to others. Avatars do not represent your likeness. The main purpose of avatars here are to let people know your gender, and your approximate age.

No. The only prohibition in creating a likeness of someone is if it is of a religious figure. Muslims are not allowed to personify religious figures, as it leads to idolatry.
Muslims don't have images of Muhammed (saw), nor do they have images of God (like Jesus or a white bearded man in the sky).
It is allowed to make images of other things, such as animals or people, but it is discouraged as we as humans cannot actually create life such as that.
However, an image of yourself for the purposes of identification has never and never will be prohibited in the least.

All I know is they keep on telling me Jesus Christ is not divine which is an insult if they would think about it. The whole Christian world believes that Jesus Christ is either part of the divine essence or all of the divine essence.
