I believe there is a life beside this life but for the ghosts ????/

For me, the ghost concept is very not universal.

My thinking is like this, if briton die and become a ghost, then he will use english as his language, then if chinesse die and become a ghost, then he will use chinese. For that case, luckily I am not live in my country, i am staying overseas where people in here speaking Hokkian and I dont understand that. So whenever I meet with this local ghost, I should not afraid of it, because I dont understand what he say, and I dont know how the ghosts in here look like.

Their not ghosts; they are demons. They bible says of the dead--Ecclesiastes 9:5-6--"For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun."

That also means that there is no burning place where we are tormented forever. We are conscience of nothing. We don't feel, see, think...It doesn't make sense.

Not really. I've never seen one, but I'm very easily frightened, so I prefer to believe there are none, because it helps me sleep at night. *lol* If there are no ghosts, that means that none of them can get in my room!

It's weird, though. My boyfriend is an athiest, yet he claims to have seen ghosts.

Nope, the dead know nothing. See Eccl. 9:5-6 Ghosts are actually Satans angels appearing in the form of the loved one that is supposed to be appearing. You have heard people mimik others. Satan and his angels have had 6000 years of practice doing it so can do it better than we could.

ghosts are residual energy left over from what once was .. a memory left in the atmosphere .. an imprint .. that's why most ghosts are seen just to replay actions over and over again ...
and they will eventually play out

I've not aware of any credible evidence that one's consciousness is separate from the body and floats about after death.

But I try always to keep an open mind. Who knows? New evidence may surface in the future that is credible.
