They did kill themselves for their God, wouldn't the Christian God appreciate the devotion to the supreme being even though a different religion?

I'm a Christian, was just a question. If anything I wonder if God would have mercy on them.

Muslims worship the same God as Moses did. The only difference is that men have written things about God which make the perceptions in the religions differ.
Christianity and Islam have their own definitions of heaven. Christianity also says anyone who doesn't accept Jesus as their savior will go to hell. It doesn't matter how good of a person you are, or what other faith you hold. So no. They wouldn't go to heaven.
It just depends on which terminal religion is true, and that's what decides who goes where.
And suicide bombers aren't doing this for God. They do these things because they have run out of hope. Hopelessness leads to extreme actions. If you were kept a prisoner in your own country, your wife was shot on your backporch for breastfeeding your baby, your homes are bulldozed with your children inside, and the country who claims your country commits genocide against your people for so many years, you might consider doing this too.
The only connection between religion and these bombings are 1. the notion that you must destroy those who harm your people and 2. anyone who dies for the religion (which would also be protecting the people of your religion), becomes a martyr.
However, the menality behind these actions usually doesn't hold the religious notion in priority. It's the hopelessess that drives them.

>>>Wouldn't the Christian God appreciate the devotion to the supreme being even though a different religion?<<<

No, because what these bombers do is NOT "devotion to the supreme being."

It's insane fanaticism. Not to mention murder of innocent people.

What is it about fanaticism and murder that would impress God?

No offense, but there are great and desperate lengths to which some people will go to discredit, defame, and slam Christianity.

Your attempt to paint the "Christian God" in such a bad light is only the latest example of this.

But they killed themselves for the purpose of murdering others. The sacrifice of their life was to take a life not to save a life. In a sense they also murdered themselves since they were not sacrificing their lives for the sake of others.

The Commandment is "Thou shalt not commit murder" I know some translations are "Thou shalt not kill" but the generalization of this term to any type of killing is incorrect. Even in the New Testament Jesus says, "You have heard it said before that thou shalt not commit murder, but I say to you that if anyone of you has unjust anger toward anyone you have committed murder already in your heart." That may not be a verbatum quote, but you get the jist of it. If we as humans do not appreciate their "sacrfice" and "devotion" to their God then how can we expect a perfect, loving and just God to? And yes there is also the issue with the fact that this person did these actions in the name of a false God and was practicing idolotry. We are to regard the life God gave us above all else, so how can you appreciate someone "sacrificing" their life in the name of taking other lives?

In what way precisely carry out a little Muslims desire to be like Christians? I definitely have never met one... All 3 faiths are linked and in basic terms because of fact Christians now worship Jesus (pbuh) does not recommend that throughout the Prophets lifetime that genuine Christians the place not astounding and worshipping as Jesus (pbuh) taught them. It grew to become into in basic terms long after that they enable issues fall away that the place too as quickly as practises of their faith ie not eating pork, ultimate chaste till now marriage, overlaying hair etc all issues Christians in the time of Jesus (pbuh) did practise. The similarities the place there and all 3 books The Torah, The Bible and The Quran are all Gods books. there are a number of Jews and Muslims who fall a techniques wanting following all that their faith teaches. What precise do you could desire to criticise Christians once you think of following your man or woman faith is ''radical''? You pronounced you do not pray... You pronounced you excitement a boy... You confirmed photos of your self exhibiting your abdomen... You reported there the place 2 Jesus (pbuh).... hardly ever room to decide others, once you do not walk the walk your self now's it? I pray Insha Allah for you sister which you end pointing hands at others and difficulty approximately your man or woman worship. Christian could be a techniques from the unique coaching and revelations which got here by way of Jesus (pbuh) yet you're a techniques out of your man or woman, and that i say that with the words you have written and the posts you have linked. Its unhappy to make certain....

Heh, not the Christian God the bible talks about...that whole "worshipping false Gods is a sin" thing I believe, according to Christians, would send them straight to hell.

Then again I'm an atheist, so I may not know what I'm talking about.

Haahahhahahha
Nice , you think Muslims' God is different from Christians'????????
He is one God... sent prophets.
Moses, Jesus, Muhammed.
Only one heaven, and Hell.
Those who blow themselves up are not right
they are in pain of losing sisters, brothers, fathers, mothers, kids...
they have nothing in their hands but losing their own lives to make people who caused their families death,, have the same experience,,,
although they are doing wrong deeds ,, but we shall sympathy them and feel they were hurt much more.... or else why do they accept to lose their lives ???

This is something (I think) can be determined only by Allah (SWT). I also believe that His mind and level of love & forgiveness far exceeds our understanding.

In other words, you may very well see these murderers and terrorists in Heaven according to HIS mercy & forgiveness, not OURS...

No, they can't sneak past St. Peter, but St. Muhamad can smuggle them through heaven's back door.
