Men have a harder time remember details then women (scientifically proven)
But a couples anniversary is one detail a man should remember.

Because "this is the third anniversary of the second week of the fifth month we've been going together/met/wrote one another" doesn't matter.

If it doesn't revolve around a holiday then most boys/men won't remember, just cuz it isn't something that everyone talks about.
If you talk about it a lot they will remember more often.

I met my wife at ~6:30pm, CST Wednesday, December 19, 1990.
We were married at 4pm, CDT Saturday, September 5, 1992.
Oh, and her birthday is January 31. (I know the year, but it wouldn't be polite to tell)

they don't remember anything, it's like they were not born with long term memory. i have to remind my bofriend 3 weeks in advance and everyday until the event so he does not forget and we have been together for 8 yrs
