Next year will be my senior year in college. My first semester will be overloading classes and working myself to the bone in school and in workstudy. My second semester will be taking classes 2 days a week and travelling/partying on the 5 day weekend...

Which semester should I be more worried about? What's worse? Too much working or too much partying?

(Partying=alcohol/dancing... no hard drugs)

I would actually think that they will both end up being bad for you. Moderation The key is take each in moderation. Balance them out

Wellll, I'd say both. You need to relax once in a while, but you can't exactly party 24/7. I would try to fit partying and work in my time, cuz I would lose it if I just stayed with one thing. If I were you, I'd be a little worried about first semester, but don't stress yourself out about it too much. Keep that worry a subconscious thing and just pace yourself and do your best. You only have 1 year left, that's not alot. Good Luck!

Well, I wouldn't worry about either semester. You'll find a happy medium so you can do both.
To answer the original question...partying is definitely worse. You don't get anything positive out of it, where as studying is gonna pay off big time in the end. Just focus on school, take life one day at a time, then you can party all you want when you're stable in your new CAREER.
Good luck to ya!

partying is worse. The reason you go to college is to get a degree so you can get a good job, get a big house/cool car etc. However, its not good to overstudy. You should study a lot but be urself and get out of the dorm once in a while. But over partying is bad for you because it defeats the purpose of college

Either one is bad when taken to an extreme. Just make sure to find time to set up your future in that second semester. It's easy to blow everything off and find yourself wondering "How did the end get here so fast?"

I would think the studying part to be harder. You want to still do well and keep good grades. What is the stress in partying 5 days/week?

Too much of anything is not good. I think that you should do your hard partying when you graduate. The party is not going anywhere but you need to insure that what you went to school for is being accomplished it would suck to get that far and mess up. So stay focused on what you are supposed to be doing!!

the two of these are both ends of the spectrum just study to keep your mind focused then party to relax and have a good time

Everything in Moderation!
