I like the same kind of drinks, but some of the sweet drinks make me gag! They are way to sweet. So the drink I tried and now love is very simple but very tasty. Cranberry juice with a good cranberry vodka, like Stoli or Smirnoff. I think you will like it!

That is exactly my taste, I love fruit drinks but I don't like the syrupy sweetness of some, I prefer a good tart drink. I LOVE margaritas and salty dogs (or a greyhound)...it is grapefruit with either vodka or gin, on the rocks with a salted glass.
In a margarita, skip the Grand Marnier and go for Cointreau or triple sec to cut the sweet and up the tart.
