you typical man...lol don't give her alcohol she is already fighting depression alcohol is a depressive that's like gas on fire.
yes most anti-depressants or all the ones that i know about that work do unfortunately have this side effect. you'll have a hard time with this but, it's not about you. but you can help by making sure she doesn't feel pressure to stop taking that medicine in order to achieve a orgasm in order for you to feel that you've accomplished your manly deed. instead of her achieving an orgasm being your final goal how bout it be her feeling secure and safe in knowing that you love her, you love touching her, holding her, and that she satisfies you, but it's still not about you!
this way you both will still be getting things you need and no one is pressured. with the pressure off when her body allows her to orgasm her mind, or yours, wont be in the way.

Alcohol definitely has a negative effect, as well as medication. You might just have to spend extra time with her. Please remember that foreplay for a women does not begin with the physical - it's mental. What are you doing to ensure she is ready? Do you take her to dinner? Do you buy cards, little gifts or other momentos to let her know you care? Make that phone call at work and let her know you love her. Place something in her home that you have hidden and give her ideas where to find it - you have to stroke her brain - her mind - THEN when you are ready and want to have a more intimate relationship, you still have to work hard - caress, tease, play with her hair, massage her neck, feet, legs, do whatever you need to do - I guarantee, she will respond if you give her the time to get ready.

I work in the medical field and I know that anti-depressants can cause lack of libido. It is totally normal. However, putting alcohol together with those kinds of meds is probably not a good idea. Watch some pornos together perhaps. That always gets me going, no matter what.

That is a side effect of some antidepressants. I was taking Celexa and had the same problem. It is very frustrating! You get almost there, but it won't happen!
