and I know I am goig to hug him so much and cry a bit cause I have missed him so much but I am just scared of doing so because I am embarrassed of being mushy in front of my family. I know he will love it , a return like that and I KNOW THAT i AM GOINGTO CRY AND HUG HIM but I am not sure if I should hold back and just hug him lightly and then do all the hugging and all because my family is there? I really want to hug hime like crazy and kiss him right when he gets back. What should I do?

Girl PLEASE! Give that man a big, tight hug and hold on until you are ready to let go. Present him with a nice card, balloon, cake or favorite meal and enjoy the conversation I am sure he will have about his time away. Cry if you want to. It's all a part of the emotions we share when we care about people. Forget your folks. If they know what love and caring for people is all about, they are not going to begrudge you this time with him. I probably would not be "too personal" with the kissing - save that for later, but letting him know how much you missed him, and not being ashamed to show it in front of your family, will help him. Men usually don't know how to show emotions and you are the one who can set the example for this display and make it 'ok for him. Enjoy

You should give him a GREAT Big hug and cry all over him. You're family won't care and if they do so what. YOu should never hold back your feelings

Do you have to greet him in front of your family? If so, I think you should give him a proper welcome, and I also think doing it in front of your family is better than the alternative, which would be sneaking around behind their backs - and no good will come from something like that...
Bottom line: If you have to greet him in front of your family, forget they're there for the moment and do what you have to do.

If your family knows how much you love him, they would'nt mind any display of affection right before them. After all, its the love and the life of his and yours so, do what your heart tells you to and if it makes both of you happy, then thats what matters most.

i had a boyfriend that i wouldnt see for atleast 9 months straight.. and when u seem its a overwhelming feeling that u dont know what you are going to do when u see them ... u cant plan it. and as for the fam. im pretty sure they are going to understand ur reaction ;)

Don't worry about what your family will think. They might think it is sweet. Show your family you love him. Give him the welcome home he probably needs. Stop worrying about what everyone else will think.
