Ok well I like this guy and stuff and he likes me and stuff but when we talk on IM it's like kinda weird and stuff, so we never have anything to say. But I like talking to him so what do you think are some things I should or could say to keep him on IM and stuff so we can longer. You know like when you get the LOL thing going and then you can't think of anything else to say, any ideas?

Well you sound young, so I would suggest a little trick that us old ladys learned on how to talk to a guy. Everybody likes to talk about themselves! So ask questions about him! Did you like the movie you saw? What is your curfew? What kinda cars do you like and why? Whenever there is "dead air" pull one of your questions out. But don't be too nosey or ask too many, he might think your a busy body.

First thing you need to improve is your language skills. Not everything is resolved with an "and stuff". Talk to him about movies, music, common interests. Keep on a roll, telling some jokes. But let me tell you that online relationships never last. The first drawback is distance. I wouldn't waste my time if I was you.

Random Questions are super fun and can get hilarious. You can ask: Pencil or Pen? If you had three different color of construction paper, which one would you choose out of green, blue, or red.

Or you can play a word game. Like making up a story. You start off with two words and then he picks two words, and then you and him.... Like this:

A: The dog
B: went on
A: a journey
B: to the
A: crazy park....blah blah.

It's more fun if you know the other person.

Try to avoid the word stuff, god that's irritating. You are already online, so why not play online games or somethin? Most instant messaging services have them built in, or yahoo do a whole list of games that you can muck around with together. Pool's usually a good one.

There is lots of "stuff". I think you realize that there are going to be a lot of answers to your question insinuating that you say "stuff" way too much. When you talk to him try to not say "stuff" so much. Good Luck!

well you can start immediately by losing the expression "and stuff" from your conversation. No wonder you have nothing to talk about. Just say what's on your mind and no "and stuff"

Ask him questions about himself. I know it sounds stupid, but ask him when his birthday is, what kind of sports he likes, whats his favorite food. Whats the first thing he thinks of when he wakes up in the morning. Ask him about his family. This should get the ball rolling build on the information he gives you and share with him what you think.

You could stop using the word stuff after every sentence. Thats very annoying.

I like the idea of telling him you're naked! That should really start a conversation. LOL. That's funny.
