I will definitely do that. I am sorry to hear about your sister. I will pray for your sister and your family because I know that must be hard on your family too. However, when you pray for her, remember to have faith and believe that God will answer your prayers. Don't just pray now because she is ill, pray at all times and thank him every day for what he has done for you and your family. I am sure that a lot of the people here on YA who are listening will join me in praying for your sister and for your family. God bless you all.

Prayer is superstition. Rub a rabbits foot, wear your lucky socks, hammer up a horseshoe....the effect will all be the same, ie...no difference.

Sorry your sister is sick, but perhaps you should be talking to the doctors about what science based treatments they are going to use. Perhaps you should be spending time with her and offering your personal comfort of human contact and love.

Prayer has been scientifically shown to be ineffective. In fact, in the largest study of intercessory prayer ever done...and run and funded by christians i should add, there was no effect at all of prayer. In fact, people who were informed they were being prayed for did worse post op

I hope your sister gets better, but unfortunately Matt, prayer would not help her in the slightest.

Either god grants your wish, or he doesn't. Its the same outcome with or without god's help.

Your sister would be better helped by companionship and perhaps you could research some non -traditional methods to help your sister.

I don't know you, but I do hope your sister gets better and you and your family are all at peace.
