Of course I'm talking about the O'Grady who was robbed against Jim Watt in Glasgow and who overwhelmed Hilmer Kenty in AC.

This fight would be a bloody brawl. I think Mancini is a little stronger but O'Grady is the sharper puncher. I believe O'Grady stops Boom Boom on cuts in 12 rounds of fierce fighting.

I would have to go with Mancini mainly because he fought against a lot better fighters than O'grady did apart from the two fights you have mentioned O'gradys opposition wasn't all that great and Boom Boom gave one of the all time greats Alexis Arguello a really tough fight. I would say Ogradys punching power would make the fight interesting but i think in reality Mancini would have more strength and more stamina and would grind him down i would say that he would stop O'grady late on in the fight.

O'Grady on points. Too quick and too much ring experience for Boom Boom. I'm thinking O'Grady fought maybe 5 times the amount of fights Mancini did. I know the death in the ring shorten Mancini's career.

Both guys retired early O'Grady because of the frustration of not getting another title shot. Mancini because of the Kim fight, he was never the same after that. Very good matchup, I really liked both fighters I can remember watching them as a teenager. Wow this is a really great fight man I gotta think about this....... I'm going to reluctantly go with Sean O'Grady in a slugfest.... Man that was a tough but good question...

Ray Mancini would kill Sean O Grady. This is a mismatch. Sean was not that good. He was built up fighting in his hometown. Mancini would have knocked him out easily within 6 rounds. Mancini would have been too active busy and ferocious for Sean to handle.

Ray Boom Boom Mancini.

Sean O' Grady was very tough but he fought a type of fight where he was a semi brawler / boxer, based on aggression. he was a very tough man and there was no shortage of courage.

His first title fight was against Danny little red Lopez when he was a teenager. If he had to do that with Ray, Ray would be too strong and fighting a brawler unless you have outstanding boxing skill and can punch like Alexis Arguello or Livingston Bramble you will struggle. Ray was a good tough man in his day, both of them had that in spades and also another thing they have in common apart from courage, nice guys.

O'Grady had more experience. Mancini was a pit bull. O'Grady by late round KO.
