I am a huge sports fan, I work with a gay guy. He asked us if some of our favorite College football , Basketball and NFL players came out would we still watch with the same enthusiasm?
To be honest I don't know, I'm a Steelers Fan and if Jerome Bettis, Chad Johnson or Reggie Bush came out or something that would seem strange, I'm not bashing but if your a big sports fan, would it effect you. Shaq, or Gretzsky, or Aggasi, Tracy Mcgrady, Pujos Whoa! But with female sports stars no biggey they actually make more money for being gay but like Micheal Vick or Jerry Rice or a Ray Lewis man that would be weird.
I'm not being a jerk I'm just being honest, what about you would it effect your enthusiasim to watch the sport?

This might be a stretch but I am going to try to answer from a guys perspective... I could see it affecting you enthusiasim for the game. Why? Well you men watch sports because you can watch balls to the wall action, it feeds your testosterone, and in some ways I am sure it affects your adrenaline. When all of a sudden you find out that the very thing the game represents to you is changed into something that is the very opposite of why you like it then I could understand an adverse reaction.
Does that make sense?

Being gay is nothing relevant to the game there. Its just one's own personal space and life that you have to respect and learn to accept. While watching a game played by them, its human tendency to keep a phrase or an image being said about them in your head and that you should never allow.
Just remember that what goes on in their lives is not a problem of yours and shouldnt affect you in any way. Think of it this way, they are there to play their heart out no matter what and what you want is a good game, so enjoy it.

Just think, just 30 or 40 years ago, actors and actresses tried to cover the fact that they had mixed blood, because it would affect how successful they were in the movies.
I guess Gay is still the new Black.....

Men are so biased.Its o.k. for men to sleep with many women but if we do it we are whores.On the other hand its o.k. for women to be gay only because men fantasize about this!!!Its not always about what you guys think.So what if they are gay,you have watched and supported this long?Its just like being prejudice,we are all human beings and though we may not agree with everything everyone does,you are suppose to love your neighbor!!!Good luck God bless:O)
