A few questions on illegals?

Question

Where does all the money illegals pay to a fake or stolen SSN go to? Do they get it back when they file income tax? So illegals don't even pay sales tax?

When 10 million+ jobs open when illegals are gone, who's gonna fill them and how long will it take? Will a lot of employers move their business south of the border to still be able to pay low wages?

Can you please answer all the questions, not just a select few.

The money goes into whats called the "Earning Suspense File".If it's a fake or stolen ss# they won't file for a return,so no money back.Illegals pay taxes.I'll bet that illegals will take the jobs of deported illegals.It won't take long.Maybe some companies will move,but you can't move a farm south.They will just hire more illegals.

Illegals are usually paid under fake names and identifications stolen from other or forged. The idea that they are paid cash is in error. Some are of course, but the majority are not. Illegals do pay social security and are then not able to collect. They also pay sales tax. They do not pay federal income tax as they claim Married with six dependents or something to insure none is taken out of their paycheck. They do pay a minimal amount of tax. They do not pay the largest tax paid by American Citizins which is Federal Income Tax.

The idea that businesses will move to south of the border if illegals are forced to go back is far fetched. You can't move a construction company south of the border. You cannot move service industries to Mexico.

If there are millions of jobs available then the US will allow LEGAL entry to foreigners that want to come here. Not just the Mexicans, but other countries as well. People who have done it the right way and legally entered the country. The idea that Mexicans have a superior right to be here over South Americans or Phillipinos, etc. is an idea that is hurting the Mexican initiative.

The SS $ now stays there and would partially off-set costs of having them here, although it doesn't go to where the costs are (schools and health care are funded locally.)

Even with all of their taxes taken into account they are a major net drain economically, and their presence severely degrades services such as education in the particular areas where they congregate.

There is no question that there is dislocation when an employed person leaves a job - that is what labor strikes are all about. However, it is the employers' own fault, and when they raise wages back to what they were in the 70's (in today's dollars) workers will be available. Regardless of amnesty, they will have to do that, because those legally here won't work for what illegal immigrants work for. It happened after 1986 and it will happen again. In this case I hope we will have at least stopped the problem going forward.

Well, the government gets to keep it! They don't file returns as they're afraid that they will be discovered. The dirtly little secret is that the IRS is fully aware of this since the names and SSANs don't match on the employer's withholding returns. It's a tasty little windfall for the government, one more reason the Boosh administration is more interested in keeping them; got to pay for borrow and spend tax cuts somehow!

The do pay sales taxes -- everyone does if the state charges one!

When the illegals are gone, a few of the jobs might move south. Not all of them though; it's pretty hard to build a house in Mexico and then carry it up to Michigan to be set on its foundation. At that point, the free ride for the employers (the real beneficiaries of the illegal aliens) will be over and the rest of us will be better off.

I dont think Illegal immigrants will ever be "gone" as you say, and if they do all strangely disappear one day we'll probably just adjust to what we did before the large influx of ILLEGAL immigrants to this country. Oh, and by the way I dont think we would really be short "10 million+ jobs", and besides, that would just mean our unemployment rate would become virtually non-existent, and our economy would flourish with all the U.S. money being earned here spent here. So companies wont need to move south of the border, because they'll make more money. What we really should do is what nearly every other country in the world does, enforce our CURRENT immigration laws better. Yea, its sad that countries need limits for immigration, but its a necessary evil that nearly all modernized countries practice. Instead of fleeing like cowards to another country, maybe they should spend all the time and effort they put into trying to move to another country illegally into improving their own country, or simply wait for it to be their turn to come here. Strangely enough, this all reminds me of kids cutting in line at kindergarten....

Yes m'am.

1)The money goes to the government.It doesn't really matter what ss# people give,as long as they give one so the government can get its money.Trust,the gov. doesn't care as much about illegal ss#s as some americans do.They get their money either way.

2)They can only get their money back IF they work with their tax#'s the government issues them.They can use this # to receive refunds at the end of the year.Alot of ppl here don't seem to believe this,but call h-n-r block and ask them if you don't believe me.

3)I know where you are going with this,and you're right.Yeah,they pay taxes.Don't everybody when we buy things at the store?

4)The jobs will be open for a very long time,I bet.Atleast some of them.Construction will suffer,as will farmers who have no one to plant or pick for them.We americans generally like to work easy for alot of money.Exact opposites of most illegal immigrants.

5)If so,then the point of many against illegals is lost.Our economy would be worse off then than it is now with illegals here.Good point,though.

Where I live it was the WHITE people at flea markets selling them SSN etc... I don't know where the money is going but into the pockets of the people who don't want them here in the first place. But the ones that get a Tax ID # do pay taxes and can file for a tax return; it's just like our SS#. I don't see those jobs getting filled quickly it will be too hard for the employees to find someone that will work those long hours and get paid for the work that is completed.

Illegals pay ALL taxes, just like the rest of us. Unlike the rest of us, they cannot file for a return at the end of the year. The fake SS cards are numbers that have not been used yet by an actual person. They cannot use the number, which is why they cannot (in most states, if not all) get a valid drivers license. They check the number! Sorry, my rant is not against you mocosa.

the money they spend go to the other illegals that are running these illegal shops. i know for a fact there is a guy who charges thousands to get these people across the border or meets them then charges them to find them jobs, then takes money from their paychecks as a fee to cover 'taxes' which he never claims and puts them up in houses he owns and charges them rent....he doesn't claim any taxes he provides no health ins but he makes sure they have all the fake id's they need...also he does no criminal background check and has had several guys here who are rapists, child molesters and murders...heck what does he care...he's making tons of money...the guy, an illegal himself, is so freakin' rich its incredible...he lives in a really, really nice house in a really, really nice neighborhood and has i don't even know how many nice expensive cars....the community knows about him and the resort he 'provides' this illegal workforce for knows what he does but they don't care...they are making money and thats all that matters to them....

Most illegals get paid CASH, so they do NOT pay taxes on that money, and they do not FILE!!!!!!!!!!! The REST of the ILLEGALS, use STOLEN and FAKE i.d.'s to work. This happened to my friend. An ILLEGAL used his social security number, and the IRS came after my friend, and wanted HIM to pay TAXES owed by the ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!! IS this FAIR??? HELL NO!!!!! And, he is STILL having problems because of the ILLEGAL, who has SCREWED UP his credit rating too!!!!!!!
