Different chemo drugs have different effects. Some cause hair loss, some don't. The doctor or nurse will discuss the effects of the chemo with the patient beforehand.

If a person's hair falls out with chemo, it does start growing again after the chemo is stopped.

effects vary. I some cases hair does fall out. SOme people are lucky enough that hair only thins. BUt chemo has gotten more advanced to the point that hair falling out is less and less common.

the hair becomes very brittle and breaks off below the skin. Once the chemo is stopped, the hair will grow again.

whether hair loss will occur at all totally depends on the type of drug ur getting. how extensive the hair loss will depend on the individual and maybe the amount of the chemo u got.

Chemo's not too hard on the hair. It's radiation therapy that gives you the big cue ball
