Men who rush off the phone?

Question

First of all he never calls me (maybe once every other week), in between those I am calling him. When I do call him we talk for maybe a total of 2-3 minutes at which point he will come up with some excuse to get off the phone and says "I'll call you back" and then NEVER DOES!!! Why does he do this, what does it mean, what can I do if anything? we have been together about 5 months now (known eachother for 2 years)

Men use about 1/2 the amount of words in a given day then women, many men dont talk for hours on the phone, they get in, they make plans they get out.

When you are together in person, does he still rush off?

If so, perhaps he isnt that into you.

If things are great when you are in person I wouldnt take his phone behavior too personally, he just may not be a huge talker.

Men don't like to talk on the phone unless they have a problem and then all they want is for you to listen give your opinion but try to do it under 30 min. They just don't do the phone thing like we do. Sorry!!!!

yup, i'd have to agree with what most people have said so far. Guys arent as talkative as girls so if they do get phone calls, its straight to the point and then hang up. I think he does this because hes just probably lazy and procrastinates alot, it doesnt mean anything, and if it bothers you just tell him how you feel and dont bottle it up inside

Guys are notorious for hating the phone. He is a normal and very much typical male. My guy is the same way, you get used to it. Actually if the truth be told, I hate talking on the phone more than my hubby does. lol.

well. i've experienced that b4 and that means that he isn't as interested as you'd like him 2 b.if he really loved u he would want 2 stay on the phone with u and talk thats how u grow 2gether and learn. i hated that because i felt like i was being put on hold alot.i think that it may b another women. his interests r elsewhere. y wouldn't he want 2 talk 2 his women?

for my experience, men don't like chatting on the phone. when you see him make other calls to friends, does he talk to them for a while,. or does he say what he needs to say and gets off the phone?? it's not about you, don't worry, but talk to him about it, he prolly doesn't realize that it bugs you

alot of guys just dont like talking on a phone to people, like me, i hate it, but if i tell my girlfriend ill call her back i will, thats just rude and ignorent
