"Finding the right one" is not some magical thing that happens. You find the person you like the most just like you find your favorite thing to do...by going out with different people. Love is a choice you make, not something mysteriously takes control over you. You love someone because you want to be with them.

it's called RESPECT! Respect for who you are, what you believe and where you are going. It begins with friendship---without friendship there cannot be a future! during the friendship period you would know whether or not you have the same beliefs and dreams---we are talking about your future---where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years? how about 20 years from then? can you truly say that in the lifestyle and desires you have this person can be a part of??? and what about him?? what are his plans for the future----where is he going---how long will it take him to begin his course?
These answers are vital---it lets you know how to handle this friendship.
And don't fool yourself! There is NO such thing as "casual" without consequences!!! Stay away from promiscuity! and any "i love you" lines! If it is LOVE then Respect would be there! The Greatest wedding present you could ever give yourself is to wait ---there is no other!!! naked and unashamed is the best wedding gift you could give each other!!!
i know, i did it right!
and i know others who didn't---it doesn't matter how much time you've been together---if you have premarital sex---there is guilt and a "missing" feeling after the vows do come!!!

Its when you fight about things, and the other apologizes and tries to rectify the problem. Making amends and showing determination to make changes so it doesnt happen again. Vows to change their mannerisms if its something you dont like. Clothing, attitude, speech, conduct. Its when you change yourself for the other person, no matter what others may say. Theyre not really your friends if they dont support you and your changes.
Its when you fight and always love each other more after because you appreciate what the other has done to fix the problem. Most guys, (including singers, actors, etc..) dont give a **** and will say whatever and move on. Make a big scene and wont care about the consequences.

You will know that they are the right one when you don't have to ask if they are.

You just know. It's a mental thing. You feel special to and with them. You enjoy them. You want to be with them. They're good to you, nice to you.l They're better that any guy/girl before them, at least in how they treat you.

I believe if you feel relaxed and happy around them. This way you are secured enough to know he likes you and still he makes you happy.

you don't sleep-you lose sleep over this special someone just thinking about him 24-7. you don't eat. you just have him in mind all day all night.
