If you want to see good old fashion romance, get the video of the movie "Somewhere in Time".
I wrote a review of that movie on ebay (look up reviews by Canary Island).
If not familiar with it, it's a story of timeless romance that makes you wish you lived in another place and time.
Chivraly died for the most part. Women began burning the bra, now they stand side by side in combat, which amazes me to no end.
And the singles scene, that became a nightmare way back in the 1970's.
Still, want ads say the same old things like...walks on the beach, red roses, lots of jokes, hand holding...etc.
You want to see hand holding?
Look for those C.E.O.'s as they march along to the court house holding hands with their wives.
Now that's true love...right?
Ain't true love really grand?
The phony new world destoyed it...sorry to say.
What can ressurect ?
Got me.
...Now don't let me discourage anyone because there still is romance around today, and I'm only generalizing.
Remember romance is a two way street, and I heard told why buy the cow when you get the milk for free.

That's a good question! Myself I believe since it is 2006 instead of way back when, times have really changed in all aspects and so have people. It's really too bad but what can a person do? Nothing. A lot of people are only there for one thing and once they get it then it's time to move on. That is so disgusting. Although there is the odd person out there that you are discribing but trying to find one is like trying to catch a rainbow. They do exist though so don't get your hopes down. Today's western woman simply is not worth the effort. Women today are not feminine, or demur. They are a buch of worthless tramp stamp wearing (lower back tatoo), cigarette smoking, skanks with so much mileage on there vaginas from all the thugs and bad boys they have slept with, that there is nothing in it for a man to get into a relationship with a western woman. I will however romance a woman from South America or Asia. American women suck!

My BF is very romantic when he wants to be ... !
Romance goes both ways ... women need to show their men how much they appreciate them and the men should do the same ... there's still romantic guys out there ... you might have to look harder but they're there ... !
Just remember if you have a son to teach him these things ... that way in the future we have nice, sweet, romantic gentlemen .. instead of horny perverted nymphomaniacs ... !
