You clearly already are agnostic --
But NEVER do something to make someone else happy. That person doesn't have to live with themselves for the rest of their life unhappy for doing something they didn't truly want in the first place. Do what makes YOU happy. That's what's most important!

Please take time to read.... thanks
Hey I am a Christian, I don't know what you have against Christianity but... I am a Christian and I am understanding and tollerant... and a loving and kind person....
if you become agnostic that means that you are confussed about religion God and evolution...
You probably have never met a real Christian, just the religious kind of Christian...
Being a Christian gives me faith and something to believe in, Christ is the answer to everything... if you don't believe me just look...
will religion, friends, money, alcohol, drugs, cool toys, possessions, studies, power, or success ever fill you soul with lasting peace and happyness...
No, absolutly not... you can try and see but you will only end up empty...
Jesus fills your empty soul He gives you life... He is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without Him... He is the only way to God because He died for sins, that sepparated us from God.... In what possible way can we get to God by doing good deeds when that doesn't erase the fact that we are full of sin?
If I had to walk away from Jesus I would die... there would be no hope or perpose.... I'm not talking about Religion... no, but relationship with God...
for you to even think about becoming agnostic tells me that you never knew Jesus or God... all you knew was COLD EMPTY DEAD RELIGION... Jesus offers a relationship with God... this includes joy and peace and happeness that the world cannot give you...
I am not trying to convert you....
I am just trying to keep you from making the worst mistake of your life...
Jesus loves you... and so do I
I'M praying for you... May God show you the Real Jesus not the religion.....
God bless you and your family...

The Agnostic Church accepts people from all beliefs. We do not exclude people who have family who are religious.
You now need to decide if you want to become a First Degree Agnostic or a Second Degree Agnostic. A first degree agnostic doesn't know if God exists, but thinks it is an important question.
A second degree agnostic does not know if God exists, but does not think it is an important question. We who are Second Degree Agnostics use the motto "Don't know, Don't care." Wee meet on thursday nights at the local tavern. Where blue, so we know who you are.
Being a first degree agnostic isn't much fun. You have to read all of Sartre's plays and books, then go on to Samuel Beckett. I shudder just thinking about it.

One doesn't decide to become agnostic....one just becomes one after examining the (lack of) evidence for the existence of god. for some it is a long struggle to reach the point where you can no longer believe on faith alone.
I'm not sure I follow how you will either be agnostic or muslim, do you really understand what agnostic means? It doesn't just apply to bible god...it means all gods of all religions.
If you decide to convert to Islam, then you are just exchanging one faith based delusion for another.
Some religious families deal better with their childrens rejection of faith than others. My family are all born agains, and they are accepting of my atheism (though I'm sure they still pray for me)

There's quite a difference between being a Muslim and an agnostic. Maybe you need to think this through more.

u can become what u want to become but ur family may not understand what u mean because they have this christian mentality. Christian mentality is gonna be a hindrance to the entire family being agnostics. But everybody has the right to follow any path he/she feels comfortable with.

It sounds to me like you already are an agnostic and simply haven't admitted it yet. For the sake of Ra, don't become a Muslim! It's even more oppresive and asinine than Christianity.

Do you know what agnostic means? You can't "think of becoming" agnostic; you are or you aren't. Definition of agnostic: One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a god or one who is skeptical about the existence of god, but does not profess true atheism. Is that how you feel? If so, you already are agnostic.

Sure be agnostic rather than muslim. If you don't like the rules of christianity, you'll really hate islam. But, don't tell your family or they will try to "help" you.

Being agnostic is a belief. So if you are already thinking about it, then you already ARE agnostic.
Agnostic - A word first used by Professor Huxley, to indicate one who believes nothing which cannot be demonstrated by the senses.

I doubt you ever were a Christian, but that's not for me to comment on. If you were a Christian and you have cast aside the Holy Spirit, denounced God, then I do believe you are perilously close to commiting the only sin that is not forgiven.
I pray that you will decide life over eternal death.
