Losers. Get an education then start hunting... Why don't you like it? PETA losers.... Animals are shot and die in less than a second, that is not suffering. I hunt so I can eat the game, but I also hunt as a sport.

You know I must say it is people like you that make the rest of us hunters look bad. I'm sorry to say that, but look at the way you posed this question. you posed it to make all the Anti's show how juvenile some people can be.

I hunt for my family. We don't have much money and all the animals I harvest are used for meat in a year. because we can not afford to feed ourselves otherwise. I am in the woods every day during hunting season, harvesting game for my table.

I dispatch my animals in a very humane way whether it be with bow, rifle, shotgun, or muzzeloader. The animals I harvest do not suffer.

Hunting is also needed to control the population, Like the one from colorado said they are in her town and worse than squirells. This is because the land in the area can not support such a large herd of deer. And due to that, the herd is slowly starving to death. Then natural selection will take over and, due to a large death of animals who starved to death will bring diseases to the area. Many of which can cause human deaths. And to her that is NOT only a bad idea it is just plain dangerous to try taking game in town.

To all the anti's who read this, hunting has been going on for thousands of years. It is how we have such a HEALTHY population of animals. The department of Natural Resources (or the same in your state) know how to maintain a population of ANY given animal in their state, to PROMOTE health and exsistance to that group of animals and the humans who reside there as well. That is why there are limits to the game a person takes. Also it provides people like me and my family the meat we cannot purchase from a store.

Also it provides such good experiences. I can't wait until my own son is old enough to go out with me. It is true bonding time. Just like my father did with me, and his father, and his father and his father, and so forth. I have helped the children in this town get into hunting that wanted to, and who have lost their father's or just don't have family who hunt.

I know none of you will ever change your ideals and I don't really care how you feel. And yes there are alot of unethical hunters out there, those are all the ones you hear about in the news. I don't care for those people either. But there are those of us that NEED to harvest animals to survive. And there are alot more of us that do the right thing than there are of the others. just remember that.

Jack I have a computer that was GIVEN to me for services rendered, and I have the internet for the kids. It is more or less mandatory in the area, (local school is 462 kids in K-12) not much of a library. And I take my 1983 Dodge 4x4 with me, or I take my 1990 olds. Don't own snowmobile or atv

Now is that anyway to encourage the PETA folks to see that what hunters do for the wild kingdom is beneficial?
You should be more sympathetic to their misguided understanding of how the benefits outweigh the loss of animal life. I mean don't you want to encourage those who might not be opposed to think more highly of the hunting sports and show them what a great time can be had?
After all People Eating Tastey Animals is really enjoyable when you get to try your hand at a skill that will possibly never be know had you not encouraged them to try it before they made up their minds!

why do you have to call others a name just because they dont hunt? everyone has their thing but that doesnt make them losers!! learn some respect and grow up!! i love to hunt but not all animals, i beleive there are animals that are hunted that shouldnt be. i also dont believe in hunting and not eating what you kill, this a waste and very cruel!!! i dont believe in trapping this to is very cruel!! hunting is a good sport for food and the hunt but should be done within the law and regulations, and with respect and love of animals!!

all i have to say is this money generated by the sale of hunting licenses are a major source of the revenue use for conservation and the anti hunting groups that try to fight hunting take money away from the cause of land management and natural worlds preservation so all you self righteous animal lovers that think you make a difference can now know you do and your contributions hurt more than they help

I hunt, I shoot rifles for target practice to maintain good shot skills, I appreciate and respect America's 2nd ammendment right, and am the holder of a ccw for the past 11 years.Lifetime member NRA,VCDL. All you've done is inflame a already hot topic! Calling the anti's names in such an immature manner only gives THEM fuel, by using you as an example of guns in the wrong hands.GROW UP, rethink your next "pro gun, pro hunting" and invest in some education yourself!

as long as you hunt to eat...there is no problem...upon a recent trip to Alaska...where the season has a 5 male 1 female(non bearing season) take...i saw several carcases that were missing only antlers....I then began to think of it as self indulgence.
I have never been against hunting...I myself have been deer , duck, turkey hunting...but I also have eaten every bit of each one. Only those out to get throphys for the wall. i find discusting. I am a big time Fisherwomen, and that to is hunting...although they call it fishing...we too hunt for the fish...am i correct? to each his own...just eat it or give to someone who will.

I dont agree with hunting as a sport, but, I do agree with it as a means to feed your family... My dad always provided for our family, during hunting season.

Ever had wild turkey!! I love it!

Here in my town in Colorado, we have deer basically overrunning the town. They are worse than squirrels. And it didn't used to be this way. So, while I think it is a bit rude to go out to where they live and shoot them, I would find nothing wrong with shooting the ones here in town.
