The only people that deserve such things are criminals. But there is wisdom in discerning what neighborhood you should live in.
For instance, if you live in a neighborhood with a high crime rate, you will at times be treated like a criminal. Unfair? Sure. But that doesn't mean it won't happen. You'd be a fool to think you'd have a good life there.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Some common sense could go a long way towards reducing the innocent victims in this conflict, if only people had common sense.
We all are always making decisions that will affect us and our children. It's tragic that children are powerless victims, unable to make choice for their own good (not that they would be able to make better decisions than their parents), but there's nothing you can do about it except learn.
Unless you're in favor of throwing yourself into that uncertain situation and trying to be the police, hated by both sides.

Personally, I don't think that anyone deserves what they get in a war.
People can argue however they want over the reasons for fighting on one side or the other, over who is right and wrong, over where justice lies. But when it really comes down to it, for the most part, the people who are dying have nothing to do with the real reasons for the war. The vast majority of the time, wars are waged because of what rich people want, and they sit comfortably in a large house or palace and watch from a safe distance while people die for it.
The people, soldiers, civilians, whoever they may be, are told that they are fighting for what is right. Whatever "right" is in that culture, that's what they're fighting for. Some of them fight hard, some of them try to protect people, some of them turn into mindless killing machines, some of them hide terrorists who are family members and friends, some of them hide in a corner and pray for it to end. But none of them deserve to die.
In my opinion, every time war is declared, the leader of the country declaring the war should have to personally fight the leader of the opposing country. Nobody else should have to get involved. There would be a lot fewer wars that way. Unfortunately, that will never, ever happen, because most people don't know how to question authority, even if they want to.

No,I don't think anyone deserves to suffer.
No,it isn't fair to my point of view to actively participate in those uprisings and cause even more damage affecting not only the infrastructure but the innocent civilians as well.
I think the one responsible having the power and control of all these rebellions should really try even harder to come into terms so unity and peace is gained and not destruction and pain.

Of course it's not fair! It's wrong, and there's no excuse possible to justify it. The religious reasons often cited always overlook one thing--it is a sin to covet thy neighbor's goods.
In this case, greed for land and oil that clearly belongs to the nations and groups being bombed is what appears to be the 'bottom line' of why these innocent victims have been targeted for destruction. Many Americans, including Jewish Americans, want to see all of this carnage stopped immediately.

Go back in history a couple of years ago. Palestinias have killed innocent israeli civilians by blowing themselved up in buses, bus stops, cafeterias, hotels, etc. completely UNPROVOKED violence. Hezbolla from Lebanon has launched thousands of rockets to Israel, hoping to kill as many civilians, women and children as possible. But when Israel, tired of this **** retaliates to protect its borders after another UNPROVOKED attack by Hezbolla (they entered israeli territory, killed 8 soldiers and captured 2) and Hamas (another soldier captured), then Israel is the bad guy, seen as murderers for killing "innocent" civilians. Give me a break!!! First, tell the lebanese people to stand up for themselves, to throw Hezbolla out of their country or at the very least not to operate amongst civilians.

Does the United States deserve wealth and power? That's not the way the world works. Both judgement and rewards come AFTER life, not during. That's why life seems so unfair.

Of course not. US and Israel should stop the war.
The extemists are behind all the conflictions but why are the innocent civilians suffering in between.

It is not fair for Islamofascists and fundamentalist idiots to hide their weapons in hospitals and apartment buildings.
What is worse? When are the Arabs who do not support Islam going to finally stand up and say, "Enough is enough?"
Hezbollah is hiding behind women and children. All of their death counts have all women and children. I wonder why? Where are all the men? In a bar in Tel Aviv?
The entire Muslim concoction is weird beyond belief. Staging bodies of little kids for pictures, covering them with dust, prop them up here! 'Click.' Prop them up there, 'Click.'
No, the real question is when are you going to get sick of it enough to do something about it? Afraid of Mubarak, are you? Funny I am not afraid of President Bush. I can say what I want to. Can you?
