Wouldn't it be just as bad to vote for someone just because they are a woman as it would be to vote against them just because they are a woman?

No.

If the female is a darling of the entrenched media outlets, then it is your solemn duty to vote for this female.

If, however, the female is on the side disliked by the media, then you are being deceived by a "false woman" and you must and should be responsible and vote for the issues that matter, not dwelling on personalities.

You obviously are a little confused. Please report to the nearest reprogramming center and have your views be electolized so they may become again authentic.

Yes. Although I think most ppl who would vote for someone b/c they are a woman have other reasons too and her being a woman just puts her in the forefront. I personally would never vote for someone based on something so trivial, but I also know that there would be millions of ppl voting against her *b/c* she's a woman. Also, women might be inclined to vote for a woman, African Americans might be inclined to vote for an African American candidate and so on, b/c they believe they share common interests. A woman would be more likely to fight for women's rights.

I have a dear friend who I will call Virginia and she ran for the state senate. We ran into just a couple who were voting for her only because of her gender. I think maybe tops 3. And we knocked on a lot of doors. You are right. Its a dumb reason to vote for someone. Even a feminist isn't going to vote for a woman if she disagrees with her about everything. That's throwing your vote away. I will predict however that there will be a two females on both of the major party tickets in 08. Clinton as the Democrat nominee and Rice for VP.

No terrorist in his right mind will assassinate who ever is the Republican President if Condi is next in line.

They would have to be crazy. Oh wait...

No, voting against someone solely because they are a woman is discrimination, voting for someone just because they are a woman is stupidity.
