I was told that the rule of thumb is $40 for wedding gifts. But, as you have already done so much it may not be necessary. Instead of an actual gift maybe you can steal her away for a couple hours and take her to get a pedicure or something to relax her!

Yes, you should give her a gift. The other things you did those out of the kindness of your heart as well. Weddings can be expensive but I would spend like 50.00 on her. Either give her the cash/check so they can spend it on what they don't get (I was recently married and that was the best gift we got was money because after all the wedding costs and the honeymoon we needed money for simple things like groceries) or get her something off the registry that you know she will need. Like if they like to bake and make sweets then a blender.
Or if you want to keep things simple get her a picture album: But don't leave it blank. Did you get pictures of the shower? Put some of those in there, then get a picture with her and each bridesmaids before the wedding and put that in there. This is something she can always keep.
If you want to do something sexy (if you know she didn't have a sexy shower or anything) then buy her a nightgown that she would enjoy along with a matching robe.
Good luck.

Maybe do a scrapbook of behind the scenes. All the girls getting ready, the parties, the picking out of the dress. She will get tons of professional pictures to put in books at the wedding, but nothing fun and special and candid. Just give her a sweet card telling her that the gift is being "crafted" Good Luck!

There is no need to spend a lot of money to get a great gift. Try out the reception gifts at Sensible Weddings. You can get something like personalized toasting flutes for under $30.

When I was in a wedding for my best friend, she insisted that none of her bridal party buy her and her husband a gift... but of course I still did, as it only seemed appropriate. If she is registered anywhere I would just check her lists and purchase something that is moderately priced. I think I ended up spending about $50 on her gift which was a really cool martini glass set, because I knew that she and her husband loved their martinis. But I would definitely start with the registry lists, and set a price limit based upon your budget.

It is according to how close you are to this cousin and obviously pretty close or you wouldn't be maid of honor. Get her a gift that she can enjoy for yrs. to come or something that both can use on wedding night.

The cost of the wedding gift should have no bearing on you being an attendant. The cost of the gift shouldn't occupy you - buy something you think they will like - something for their home, maybe something decorative like a bowl, vase, or mirror.

I think that you should spend whatever you think is appropriate. I'm sure she appreciates everything that you've done for her, and anything you get will be wonderful. As for what to get, you should probably get something from the registry, or a gift for the both of them, that they will both love and not just something for her. Good luck!

I think the best idea is getting her a weekend for two somewhere, or two tickets to go to a concert, music show or somewhere you think she would love. Something she could go or do as a small trip or entertainment. If you think she likes this, two tickets to an amusement park or natural park to visit.
She could take her hubby and it will be a present she won't forget.

You are done. She is supposed to gift you at this point in the process. Tell her Jet says, "Congratulations!"
