In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef, garlic and onion. Drain fat. Add tomatoes, brown sugar, and seasonings. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in the tomato sauce and pasta.

Cut cream cheese into 1/2 inch cubes and stir into the meat sauce.

Put the mixture in a 4 quart casserole dish, or 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 8 servings.

Here are two recipes that me and my family like. My dad actually invented this one:
Gilbertini
2 cups tube-shaped noodles (i'm not sure exactly what they're called - he drew me a picture of the noodle on my recipe! - but really, any kind of pasta you like will work!)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1/2 package italian sausage, cooked and drained (you could use cooked chicken too.)
2 T. melted butter
1 cup mozzerella cheese

Cook noodles according to pacakge directions and drain. Mix in sauce, garlic salt and powder, melted butter, parsley, and sausage. Pour into greased 8x8 inch baking dish and top with mozzerella cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until top is bubbly.

Pizza Pasta Casserole
1 lb. hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
1 jar spaghetti sauce
8 oz. spiral pasta, cooked and drained
2 cups mozzerella cheese
4 oz. sliced pepperoni

Cook beef and onion in skillet and drain off grease. Stir in spaghetti sauce and pasta. Transfer to a greased 9x13 bakind dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange sliced pepperoni over the top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Casserole may be frozen. To cook: thaw in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

Another tasty thing to do that's really easy is: take any kind of pasta and cook it. While it's cooking, melt 2 T. of butter in a skillet. When melted, mix in 2 T. flour with a whisk. Pour in 2 cups of milk and whisk until sauce thickens. Add salt, pepper, and any kind of cheese you have in the house; stir until cheese is melted. Drain cooked pasta, pour in cheese sauce, and pour into baking dish. Top with additional cheese and broil for 3-4 minutes until top is bubbly and beginning to brown, like pizza cheese! It's yummy!
