How do I save pictures onto an external DVD writer?

I want to create a menu on the dvd that mimics the folder structure
Plextor px-716uf
Windows 2000
Need free software.

if you are using xp right click the file or files you want to save and 'send to' the external drive or whatever it is on the list it should then open a 'files to be written to cd' window....i havn't tried this as i don't have an external drive but it might work. Or open the external drive window and copy and paste them
