Any food with high quantities of starch. Starch is a complex molecule (at least more complex than most things you eat) so it takes a longer time to digest if you don't break it down well in your mouth. Our stomaches cannot break down whole kernels in the amount of time it takes to make it from your mouth to the toilet. All of the foods listed here have higher starch levels than meat and dairy products so if they are not chewed thoroughly they can end up in your poop.

Well Iams isn't really that good. Neither is Science Diet, Eukanuba, Purina, Pro Plan, or any grocery store brands. These foods will sometimes even have corn as the first ingredient and it is very hard for your dog to digest. This leads to a dog that has a dull coat that poops a lot and smells really bad when he does. You want to look for a food that has meat meals listed in the first few ingredients. My favorite is Canidae. No corn, four human grade meats. Good Stuff and my dog loves it!
