I've heard the same and my kids love it. We make fresh juice every morning for breakfast, and they blueberry and pomegranite...and some orange juice, and blend with some ice, a banana and a little stawberry yogurt for a great smoothie!

I have tried the POM Wonderful Pomegranate Blueberry juice. It's quite good, but a little too strong/sweet for my tastes. It's the kind of juice that I can really only drink about 8oz and I've had enough. Sometimes I water it down just a little bit too.
As for the health benefits, here are a few tidbits from the pom wonderful website:
100% Pomegranate Juice:
contains no added sugars, preservatives or colors
is a good source of potassium
is gluten free
is flash pasteurized to retain both flavor and nutrients
is available in 8 oz.(limited distribution), 16 oz., 24 oz., and 48 oz. sizes (237ml, 473 ml, 710 ml, 1.4 L)
is certified kosher

I heard it was good for you too. I got some 100% pomegranate and cherry juice. It's good, but strong and tart. A little like dark grape juice. I think you're supposed to drink 6 oz. a day. My brother in law makes breakfast smoothies with other fruit and this juice.

I'm not sure of the health benefits but it is quite tasty. I prefer eating the fruit rather than drinking the juice though

its good for you because its full of anti-oxidants and vitamins...but the juice itself is rather bitter. i like the fruit but its hard to find in super-markets...you can buy pomegranate mixed juices and teas which taste better but if you cant find those try mixing the juice in tea or other juices to make it less bitter.

I heard its an antioxidant, flushing out the free radicals (that cause cancer) and toxins (that make u feel crappy) similiar to green tea, bluberries and cranberries. I would say drink as much as u like!!

I tried it for the health benefits, but it was disgusting - too bitter.

It is full of antioxidants. Those are good for you, especially for your skin. It is expensive. I have seen it at Publix.
