Yes, a gift is appropriate. Typically something religious is appropriate. Go to a good Christian book store, and they probably have a whole section for Baptismal gifts.

A small gift is appropriate. It isn't difficult to find a baby Baptism gift or card. Don't be to extravagant unless you are the God Parent or close relative.

Yes you should. A baptism card with money is a good gift, or some religious item such as a bible, cross, rosary, or religious figurine would be an excellent gift. Hope that helps ya out!

yes . by all means bring a gift. be sure it will be something that as the child grows , it will grow with that child. something like a small savings account in a local bank, maybe $10.00. as the child grows, so will it. present it to the parents at the baptism.

If you were following the Bible, you would not go.
The Bible is not in favor of baptizing infants, since they don't have a clue what they are getting into.
Romans 12:1 speaks of serving God using one's reasoning powers.
Infants can do that?

Yes, but it doesn't have to be anything pricey. If you have a religious store in your city, they could make suggestions for you. Some kids' books about bible stories or values are really nice, or a figurine, plaque or holy picture.
