i used to, but my cats jumped up and practically made everything fall. Now I just use placemats. Tablecloths are nice for entertaining, but get annoying for everyday use.

I do, but I wish that there were another way to protect it other than that clear plastic that becomes so cloudy after a while. I sometimes try using it without the plastic covering, but with kids it will inevitably be ruined.
