The prune juice answer. It has worked for me. In my experience, it is the fastest natural laxative, and should be available in most supermarkets.
Don't go overboard. Try a glass first. Repeat in an hour or so. If you try to chug a whole quart down at once, you could get extremely painful cramps.
An over the counter stool softener may also help get things moving. Again, don't take more than the directions suggest.

Gippy is right - prunes instead of prune juice works also if you are not a juice person - you can also buy bulk laxative that will help you gently release!@

anything with monosodium glutamate (MSG)...used to be found in Chinese food...some folks have the same affect from eating at McDonald's....then there's always the old Fleet's Enema
