Is it from something the mother does or is it hereditary?

The exact cause is unknown. But scientists have noticed a connection between autism and mercury. But that hypothesis still needs to be researched.

Supposedly mercury has a link to it along with a woman who's mniddle age having kids. That's just what I've heard.

Doctors are not sure if it is hereditary or environmental but it is not something that your mother DID!@

yeah the mercury thing I've heard about. but I used to think it was hormonal imbalance in the genetic code or something.

they are born with it. if the mother has it,. they have a larger risk of getting it, but healthy parents have had austism childrens.
