Don't be affraid, your mom has already gone through them and can probably give you some pretty great advise. Just tell her and i am sure it will be a small celebration of sorts. Your becoming a woman, it is nothing to be embarressed about,
Congrats!!

Well i don't know how old you are but when you start going through any types of changes you need to talk to someone so that's good you want to talk to your mom. You should just be spending time with her go shopping spend the day together and i gaurantee that you will feel more comfortable if you are spending time with her before you ask her or tell her anything. Or you can just go up and start talking you may feel uncomfortable but your mom will love that you went to her and that you two can talk. So good luck and i hope this helped. : )

Believe me, it's awkard at first but as soon as you get it out and realize she went through all if it too, and that she can help you, it becomes so much easier! Just say "Hey, mom, I just wanted to talk to you about some changes that are going on with me." ya know? Don't be scared to. My mother just passed away a few months ago, and I wish I still had her around to talk to about any changes at all that are going on. Problems, female changes, etc. Mothers are there to help, and that's what they do best! Just guster up some confidence and sit down and have a talk with her one day! It'll be fine!

i was in the same spot cuz i thot my ma might yell at me (and i was an early bloomer, so i know what its like) but now i know shes not here to laugh, shes here to help me cuz shes been through it and she could help me alot!
so my idea is to just tell your mom...i think you'll find some reassuring answers, or just a good convo.

Just come out and tell her, it isn't like she didn't know when it was her time to become a woman. Nothing to be ashamed about, she should be expecting the change to come anyway.

I would say, "Mom, I feel weird talking about my body but I'm _______ (however old) so you probably know what I'm going to say."
hopefully, she'll take it from there.
