Had one when I was young (14-22), only seen 4 or 5 others that looked like him since, have NO IDEA what breed he was, even looked at charts at the vets office that show all the "breeds" and couldn't pick him out, He was Every shade of brown, had a silky coat, "wings" on his feet and only stood about 14 inches high or so ... but I haven't found one since that I loved as much... Named him Whimpy... cause he was such a coward that a "person" could bark at him and he'd run behind me before turning to bark his little heart out at them... but I nearly changed his name to Hefty a few years later, when a couple of Pit bulls came into the yard while I was outside with my Baby one day. Whimpy sent them packing quite handily... Their owner came over all upset... until he saw Whimpy, then he decided that there must have been some BIG DOG running loose in the area that beat up his Oh So Strong Little Babies... I STILL laugh about that one...

Right now I have a dog that is half australian shepherd and half coyote. I don't know how it happened...anyway, he is 12 years old now. We have had him since he was about 6 weeks old. He is the sweetest and smartest dog I have ever had. He is creative, inventing his own games, and has even been known to pick up his toys and put them in his "toy box" when told to! He paper trained himself when he was a puppy, before I retired and could stay at home with him! My true little companion and best friend. Life will never be the same when he has to leave me.

My american pit bull terrier tessa. Pit bulls are stereotyped too much. It is all in how they are raised. She is the best dog I have ever had.

siberian huskies...they're not only beautiful they are so intelligent, playful, and loveable. They make great walking/jogging companions. They always make you laugh especially when you're down.
