Adam and Eve DID "spread the word," since Cain and Abel made offerings to the Lord (Genesis 4:3-4). What is truly interesting is that neither Adam nor Eve are depicted as worshipping God after the Fall. Perhaps they didn't feel worthy enough?
The question of "other deities" is a complex one that boils down to one word: pride. Any true worshipper of the One, True God can tell you that you must completely humble yourself before Him. The other "gods" take you as you are -- sinning; sacrificing children; practicing ritual prostitution; drinking; ect. -- no humility required.
View this out of your own experience: in your observation, how long does it take a person lacking humility to realize a higher authority is greater than they are?

If you are really curious, read without prejudice.
Bible the book of words spoken by Jesus.
Who evolved about 2000 years ago.
Where as the Aryan Civilisation claims to be begun about 400000 years ago. According to latest science updates, Modern Man evolved on Earth more than 15000-20000 years ago.
Why did almighty God took so many years in sending
his prophet.
*Nobody even mentioned about Christianity before Jesus.
This means that Biblical God is just a imagination. Also the Western Scientists (almost Christians) are busy in proving the Bible as wrong. Even they do not believe in God or any such thing.

God did not always make his presence known. From Genesis to Exodus over 400 years passed without anyone hearing from God. During that time I would surmise that the Egyptians came up with every God under the Sun.....13 Gods I believe it was. Around the world again, Romans, Greeks, Norse, Indians, Hindu, Chinese, etc..... had nothing being given to them so they formed the pagan Gods of mythology. Man is basic or simple....what we don't seeand understand, we make up or reason why it is what it is. You can use that same arguement to attack any religion though. Without Faith...there is nothing.

Adam and Eve chose Satan. God confused the languages of the ancient city of Babylon, who is the mother of all false religion on earth. The people took their religion with them, so false religion spread everywhere.
God predicted and arranged the destruction of ancient Babylon, just like he has predicted and will arrang for the destruction of Babylon the Great. YHWH will put it into the heart of the United Nations to destroy all false religion. Revelation 17:5,15-18.

Sorry you religious nuts, but quoting the bible is not a factual answer, because the bible is merely a collection of fables. There is no god, deal with it. People just created gods throughout history to explain things like "the heavens"...then we got a telescope and a spaceship and figured out that it was really just an atmosphere. Hell, i think it would be cool if Mt. Olympus were real, but its not. We evolved, we die, and you should enjoy life while you can, not worry about lol "SINS" oooo spooky!

Actually there is not much to think about. God has always been and showed His presence everyday in all that He had created. Also, it is human nature to want to visually see something, not just spiritually see and feel. Most people could not handle not being able to understand and accept what they could not see. That is why every now and then we get the little subtle random reminders that God is with us. Pay attention to your surroundings and you will be amazed!

Excellent point, you would think adam and eve would have definitely told their kids about it. Seeing how effective modern religions are at brainwashing kids from birth, A&E's kids would have been religious clones as well. The most likely explanation is that the story of Adam and Eve is total B.S.

I don't understand the part about God giving the promised land to Abraham's decedents, when it was already occupied by the Canaanites, like God is a sadistic voyeur creating a war for his amusement

Because sin entered into the race of mankind and we lost that direct line to God. So man, being hoplessly religious by nature, startes worshiping whatever struck aew into his mind/heart. Not to mention that God and we have a dedicated enemy who is dedicated to our deception about God. Ergo, it became nearly impossible for the race of man, that God had created to "get back" inot a relationship with God.
This necessitated that God should become one of us, human, to bridge that gap.
