Most mammals, including dogs, have belly buttons. In dogs they appear as small scars along the stomach, rather than indented belly buttons. These scars usually fade away after a few years, but you can still see them in puppies

I have no idea but they have no belly button because there is know umbilical cord I think they don't feed in the womb and that's why the pregnancy is so short

They do have belly buttons. These people are being too hard on you. They are difficult to see. They are located almost in the middle of the tummy. My pup has a hernia that he had when he was born. It's easy to see his.

They do have bellybuttons...try looking at a puppy's belly or a short haired dog...you can still see my dog's and he's 2...they get fed the same way we do...

Dogs are born from eggs and that is why they have no belly buttons. Haven't you ever seen a mommie dog sitting on her nest of eggs?

When puppies are first born they do have a little belly button. But, as they get older disappears.

Yes they do have belly buttons, it's just hard to see them after they grow a little.

Exactly!! Belly buttons are there, they are just so small. The mother when she eats it and licks it off, it reduces it to almost nothing?

You can see them when they are bitty babies. Its not as predominant as a humans and most people don't even know what it is when they are looking at it. As they grow at the skin stretchs with new growth it completely disappears

They do have belly buttons. Often it's covered with hair, but sometimes you can see or feel it.
