I had an abortion at the age of 19. I will never forget what I've done.

What did I do about it? I found a website from a place called Rachel's Vineyard, a weekend retreat for women who have had abortions and need healing from the emotional scars left behind. I attended the retreat to seek help for my issues and I was forever changed by that experience.

I cannot justify what I did, but I can gladly say that God is forgiving, and I am thankful for His Mercy and His Grace.

Rachel's Vineyard saved my life. I wish I would have found someone at the age of 19 to help me realize the mistake I was making... Now I volunteer for crisis pregnancy centers from time-to-time and am considering becoming certified to help counsel post-abortive mothers.

The biggest mistake I've made is staying friends with someone who was awful. She just basically sucked the life out of me bit by bit and then left me behind when she thought I was moving on. You know, one of those people who you tell you're getting married and she says "oh I'm so sad, no one will EVER marry ME" you know what I mean? I wish I hadn't wasted so much time trying to be a good friend to someone who never did anything for me.

I haven't done much about it since she basically ended the friendship, but at the same time I haven't felt bad at all about her not being in my life. It's like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

There's are plenty of things I messed up on.

I had a kid before getting married, that's a big one.

However, of all the mistakes I have ever done, I am proud that I did them. It's not like they have led me down a path I regret. I now have a wonderful son, husband, and life.

The biggest mistake i ever made was, Not accepting Jesus as my Savior sooner. When i was lost i wasted my life, serving the devil. Now that i am saved, every second counts for living for the Lord.

Choosing a boyfriend and his friends over other, really great friends in high school. He and the lifestyle that he was associated with was just bad news.

I separated myself from them a long time ago and have married a great guy and have a wonderful daughter and a blessed life.

For a few years I was overly concerned with making sure that I didn't offend anyone. One day I realized that I have no control over whether or not other people get offended so I went back to being myself.

getting addicted to yahoo answers! lol!
but seriously, I won't tell you the biggest mistake I've made, because it's long, complicated, hurtful, and very much in the past.
and what I did about it, I prayed a lot, tried to make amends to the hurt person, and dedicated myself to not ever doing anything like it again.

Being controlled and guided by fear - which was instilled by others. I made decisions based on others expectations and wishes and it set me back in my own life. I let some bad experiences stop me from taking chances.

I grew up, thought for myself, made my own decisions, right or wrong. Fear doesn't go away, but you can go through it to get to where/what you want to be.
