You were all against the idea of Global Warming as Pat was.
What now?
Do you change your mind, too?
You can....I'm not saying you can't change your mind, but it's so funny to think that just because Pat changed his mind, you will follow suit and suddenly 'believe' in Global Warming.
Is this not proof that you don't think for yourselves, but you follow blindly?

I don't believe I ever said that I believe in Global Warming. I'm reading the question again and NO...it doesn't say I believe in global warming. Nope. Not one word.

READ the question. It clearly says "FOLLOWERS of Pat Robertson".
Apparently this does not include you, so what the fuss?

Just because Pat Robertson thinks that Man made Global warming is happening, still doesn't explain the voodoo science behind the hysteria. Just because Al Gore can make a movie and show lots of data (mostly out of context) and lots of Politicians are running around and saying what people most fear. Let me remind you that this UNprecedented heat wave is not so UNprecedented. It is called Summer and happens every year about this time. Here is the problem with Global Warming. The Scientist that support the Theory, find something every year to support their side of the argument Last year it was Hurricanes. Admittedly a terrible year for them but, the prediction was they would be worse this year. It is now August and there have been No Hurricanes, and only 3 Named storms. But unlike the left in this country I don't follow Anyone blindly or otherwise. Let the Blind lead the Blind is the motto of the Left. why should you find it so funny that you place that burden on The Right as well.

Why would Pat Robertson's opinion affect mine in any way? I am a follower of Christ, not Pat Robertson.
And as far as "global warming" goes, I recall in the 70's, while I was in school, every report about the climate from the scientific community told us of the coming ice age. That it would happen within a generation. Nearly forty years later I still have my parka and boots and gloves waiting for this supposed ice age.
Now, this same scientific community (with Algore as its High Priest) tells me I should've bought Bermuda shorts instead of a parka. What is up with that???
One thing that I will agree about global warming on is this: "Now by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire and are being kept for the day when ungodly people will be judged and destroyed." (II Peter 3:7)

I'm not sure exactly what you're getting at. There is global warming, that's not really an issue. The question is 'why?' Many people simply don't think humans have had enough of an impact to change the global climate. There seems to be plenty of evidence that compared to natural phenomena, we don't do a whole heck of a lot.
So many beleive it's just a natural cyclical change. I would guess that if we'd been around during the beginning of the ice age, people would attribute that to us too.
In fact, you may recall that not long ago scientists were in fact, very concerned about global COOLING! Odd how quickly things change.

Here are the fact: Over the past 100 years the earth is experiencing a warming trend. This is a fact and is not in dispute.
The REAL debate is what is CAUSING the warming. Some say it is man made and other say it is natural.
All we will ever have a theories, since it cannot be proven scientifically. We only have one earth to study, which is too small a sample to prove a theory. Also we have no control, again one one earth so proof is not possible.
The problem, if it is man made and we do nothing, the consequences are disastrous. Since there is only one earth I would take err on the side of caution.

Pat is getting along in years, and sometimes his ideas are a bit strange.
Global warming exists, but it is probably part of a long climate cycle and man's role is uncertain.

If you think global warming is fact, i urge you to visit www.junkscience.com and do some looking around. This has quite a scientific argument, and all the proof available to back it up.

You, my friend, are scarcely educated and have been duped by the leftist media.
Do you realise that a single volcanic eruption, of which there have been many in your lifetime, spew more carbonic gases into the atmosphere than humans have ever created since the Industrial Revolution?
If not, then you are even stupider than you sound...
