A preacher was standing outside on a very rainy day. When it became apparent that there was going to be a flood, the preacher stood there watching it start to rise around him. When the water reached his mid-calf, a man in a car drove up to him and said, "Hey, do you need a ride out of here? The Preacher said,"No son, God will save me." The man shook his head and drove away. When the water reached his mid section a man in a fishing boat came up to him and asked if he wanted to climb in. The preacher replied again, "No son, God will save me." The man paddled away. When the water reached his chin, a man in a helicopter flew down and offered him a lift out of there. Again, the preacher said,"No son, God will save me." So the man flew away. The water then flooded the preacher and drowned him. When he got to heaven he asked God,"God, why didn't you save me?" and the Lord replied,"I sent, you a car, a boat, and a helicopter. What more do you want from me?"

The Lord sends us ways out but we refuse to recognize the hand of God in all of this. So in our ignorance we overlook the answer.

To me the answer is there is NO GOD. Of course you contradict yourself by saying that the preacher gets to Heaven that mythical place somewhere out in the neather reaches where he meets God (if there is one). It's actually some pretty cool sarcasm. I believe my answer to be correct despite your contradiction. PEACE!

don't assume huge miracles are needed to believe in God; open your eyes to the simple blessings that happen everyday. God works in ways we will never understand

He prayed for God to delivery him from his predicament, and God did, but he wasn't looking for it in that form, I guess he thought God was gonna come and personally lift him up and set him on higher grounds, we need to understand that God answers our prayers His way, and accept it.

Sometimes God helps up without us even knowing that He does. He has his messengers and his ways, just leave it up to Him.

Joke's good by the way.
