In the book of Ezekiel 13:3"Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!" This is the subject of the chapter, "foolish prophets" Than it goes on saying: 20"Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly."
The subject in the book of 1 These 4 is in verse 13-14. These verses are saying: don’t be ignorant concerning the ones that are dead, or sorrow as if they didn’t have hope. As we believe that Jesus died and rose to Heaven, so are the ones that die in the flesh, they are in Heaven with God. Confirmation: 2Cr 5:8 “We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.”
So, why feel that 1 Thes 4:16-18 says that there will be a ‘rapture’.

1 Thes 4:15 is saying: we can’t keep the dead from going to Heaven because they are already there.
1 THes 4:16 is saying: the dead in Christ will rise first because they are in Heaven already. Keep the subject, the dead in Heaven.
1 Thes 4:17 is saying: We that are still alive, we will be transformed into the spirit to be with the Lord.
There is no rapture. Think about it.

You are right. There is no rapture. When YHVHSHUA (jesus' hebrew name) tells us that one will be in the field and one will be taken, he is reffering to the ones being gathered to be thrown into the great winepress in revelation. 1 Thes. 4 is talking about Him coming in the clouds (army's or multitudes), not actually in the clouds. Try researching the Two-House Restoration. This is actually the biblical end times, and is what the believers in Messiah's time believed. Not this false rapture doctrine.
Seriously though, look up the two house restoration. You will be greatly enlightened, and I hope the spirit will guide your study.
