This is a VERY FORMAL wedding. When the men have to wear a black tie and a tux you know it is formal. You should wear an evening gown, if you wear anything else then you are going to look out of place. Any color but darker colors like dark blue, reds, and black those are the most elegant colors.

You should wear a long evening gown. Not anything poofy or anything with a train, just something sleek, and elegant. If you are attending an evening wedding you are allowed to wear black or another dark color, DO NOT wear brown. If it is a morning/afternoon wedding you should wear a color associated with summer for instance blue. Good luck and have a great time at the wedding.

Traditional marriage ceremony ettiquette strongly discourages dressed in both all-black or all-white apparel, as all-black is a signal of demise and mourning, whilst all-white is the colour the bride shall be dressed in (important no-no to out-shine the bride!). Of the clothes you discribed, I feel the only with white floral print might be probably the most appropriate on the "conventional" marriage ceremony, seeing that it's surely a well steadiness of the 2 colours. HOWEVER, you did not say whether or not the marriage ceremony was once a gigantic formal marriage ceremony or a small informal marriage ceremony. At small weddings, such a lot traditions like which are thrown out the window on account that the couple is extra involved approximately your presence alternatively than your dresser. And even at gigantic formal weddings, a tasteful get dressed that is all black or more commonly black with white is viewed suitable. As lengthy as you do not put on all-white, you will have to be pleasant. Have amusing, and well good fortune with the bouquet toss! :-D

DO NOT wear white whatever you do. But yes a long gown is acceptable. Black if it's in the evening. You may wear a short dress, but formal. Navy, black, cream, champagne, or best.

You have to wear an evening gown. Anything less would be offensive to the bride and groom and everyone will be talking about you! Have fun. Treat it like a prom!

Very very fancy cocktail dress or evening gown. If you are going with short dress, it had better have some nice accessories to go with.
