this guy talks nonstop and it's not about work related. only time he stops talking is when he has to go to the john. and he's mostly talking to another woman. only time he doesn't when his wife chimes in. but 99.9% it's the same woman.

* someone I hope you don't have to share job duties with!
If the constant talking interrupts your work or makes it hard to concentrate, tell your supervisor in a non-judgemental way using "I" statements. Example: "I'm finding it hard to concentrate with ambient noise level around my desk. I'm afraid this could impact my productivity negatively. Can we work together to find a solution for this?"
Even if the talking doesn't interrupt you, this could be a ploy to get someone to shut the guy up. :o)
