Hi, i would have to examine the child before giving a diagnosis but this is most probably Hand Food and Mouth Disease, caused by a a number of enteroviruses in the family Picornaviridae. One such virus is enterovirus 71.

I would suggest going to the doctors immediately, even though there is no "cure" for it, the doctor would be in the best position to medicate your child and control his symptoms, for example, paracetamol for his fever, blisters and sores can be treated with calamine lotion to relieve any itch. Personally i advise cool baths to keep the temperature down and lots of water.

As this condition is caused by a virus, there is no cure, and it has to run its course. It must be important to note that it is quite contagious, so keep ur child away from any other children in the house or in school. I think it would be best to keep him away from school till his symptoms subside.

It is actually quite a common condition affecting many infants and young children but only a very small minority require hospital admission, mainly as a result of neurological complications (encephalitis, meningitis or acute flaccid paralysis) or pulmonary edema/pulmonary hemorrhage. nonetheless it is good if you can seek medical help asap.

Hope your child gets better. :D

Hand, foot, and mouth disease. This is in the nfamily of viruses like chicken pox. No cure, but need to watch for dehydration. My son had this also. It is very painful for them. Call a Dr. office or speak w/ their nurse about what yiou should do. Sometimes they don't want you to come in because it is very contagious. Keep away from other kids.

hi honey, whats her general mood like?
if shes grizzly, off food, temp up really high and just wants you go to A and E could be kawasaki syndrome... daughter had these blisters and a strawberry tongue...
if not too bad , then call nhs direct or go to doctors
you can never be too cautious with little ones, even when they are really ill you have to push the doctor for help sometimes, use your common sense tho, you know what shes usually like, go by that more than anything else...get her to a gp soon tho cos blisters in those places cant be comfortable...

that sounds like hand, foot and mouth disease, which goes away on it's own. the bumps on her behind sounds like a rash that has turned into a yeast infection, which needs to be treated by his/her pediatrician.

see a doctor. It does sound unusual, could be a fungal infection. I would be most worried about the blisters in her mouth
