He just might be because I hear so many people say " God gave them what they deserved".

I have and I completely agree with you. The realization scared the hell out of me.
The classic dilemma that people have with God starts out with a question
" If God is good ,then why does he allow such bad and evil things to happen to people ?'" At this point those who know and allegedly understand God start doing a verbal dance trying to explain the illogic of of it. Phrases such as " God works in mysterious ways " and the usual litany of lame excuses
We have all heard them and we know `what they are
If you asked a child why he did something bad and he started to do a similiar verbal dance a reasonable person would quicky realize that the child was lying.
The problem is that the wrong question was asked. If God is good is a question without a definitive answer. Change the question to " If God is Evil then why do all the bad things happen to people? " is a question with a very well defined answer. Because that's what evil things do.
Many years ago a good friend of mine was murdered and I"m sitting in church behind his wife and four young children ,the priest is telling us that we may not understand it today but he was sure that god had a really good reason for
my friends death. I was almost going to ask the priest to list them in order of descending probability.
So yes that was the day I became a true non -believer. Because even if God does exist he is cruel , sadistic and evil. and evil things always decieve us by telling us that they are really good.

"God" is neither human not any flesh creature, and is beyond description or understanding. But if "God" created all things, and all things have an opposite, and humans have free will, consider that it is therefore a human choice to "be/do" evil, not a "God's" choice. Is a hurricane evil? Horrible, fearful, and to be contended with, but not evil. Cultures tend to dictate exactly what evil is, and what appears barbaric to one culture(usually the conquerors) may be proper and righteous behavior to another(the conquered).

Fabulous question, from what I have read he seems like an evil vengeful God. Let’s see he makes bets with Satan and destroys lives to test their faith, he hates Gay people even though he supposedly created them in his image and more. Not the stuff of a loving kind God.
Oh and I freakin’ love your AVATAR!

DOMO ARIGATO......
Thats a good question.
Either way I believe that there are energies all around us. Good and Evil.
AND, your theory does make sense. Supposedly God made humans in his own likeness.
Thats a scarey thought. Look at humans overall. Their is so much evil on this earth. If he made us in his image, then it is quite true that he is EVIL.

Why consider that? Isn't Satan being evil, enough? Do you believe in God? To ask such a question?

I would have to say that something that claims to be Perfectly GOOD yet has created Evil... can't be all that good. Even if we say he didn't create evil... he Allows it to happen even though he is all-powerful and could do Anything he wanted. Something is amiss. :oP~~

The Islamic and Christian terrorists (McVeigh) have already put forward that view of God. They are generally not liked.
